UPCOMING B95 EVENTS FOR ST JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL:

RADIOTHON!!
THANK YOU!!
B95's 10th annual Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon was a HUGE success again this year.  With your help, in two days, we raised $113,667!!  That was up from $81,455 last year, for St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Over the past 10 years, B95 listeners have raised over $884,148 to help save children’s lives!!!  Hopefully, one day, we can say goodbye to these catastrophic diseases and childhood cancers.

B95 is part of a national effort that brings together nearly 200 country radio stations in the fight against childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases. With the help of the lead singer of the group Alabama, Randy Owen-who started the program in 1989, Country Cares for St. Jude Kids has raised an impressive $345 million to help continue the life-saving mission of St. Jude.

About St. Jude

St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. With research and patient care under one roof, St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able to do science more quickly.

St. Jude researchers are published and cited more often in high impact publications than any other private pediatric oncology research institution in America. St. Jude is a place where many doctors send some of their sickest patients and toughest cases. A place where cutting-edge research and revolutionary discoveries happen every day. We've built America's second-largest health-care charity so the science never stops.

All patients accepted for treatment at St. Jude are treated without regard to the family's ability to pay.

Acceptance

Acceptance is based on the patient's eligibility for an ongoing treatment study, regardless of a patient’s race, sex, ethnicity, religion, nationality or ability to pay. Parents who wish to have their child treated at St. Jude should have the child's physician contact St. Jude at 1-866-2STJUDE (1-866-278-5833) or by e-mail referralinfo@stjude.org.

Since the hospital is a research center, children accepted are enrolled in a specific study or "protocol." Information gathered from these studies is used in developing better treatments. Protocol-based therapy has led to improved cure rates for potentially fatal pediatric diseases.
