Talk about a "high"-end meal ... Since 2004, Dinner in the Sky, an exclusive event company, has been offering clients a fine dining experience, any place in the world that they want, suspended from a crane 150 feet in the air.
Diners are strapped into what look like race car chairs, and are seated around a rectangular table with a cut out in the middle of it for two Michelin star chefs and a server. The table is secured to a platform that is suspended in the air by cables attached to a crane.
Each experience seats about 22 people and costs $350 per person, but it can be held anywhere as long as a surface of 100 feet by 50 feet can be secured and proper permission is obtained from the area’s owner.
Just remember not to drink too much – there are no bathroom breaks at this restaurant! (Today)
